Coding/Pricing for Cardiovascular Risk Panels
On October 1, 2015, one of CMS's Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) published a proposed Local Coverage Determination (LCD) entitled "MolDX: Biomarkers in Cardiovascular Risk Assessment" (LCD DL 36358) that NILA believes would discontinue coverage for nearly all cardiovascular risk assessment tests, leaving physicians with access to only two cardiovascular risk tests to manage a patient's health.
