Former NILA Member, Richard Nicholson and Wife Kim, Remembered at Memorial Service

Richard E. Nicholson, a former NILA member, and his wife Kim Harrell Nicholson, were remembered during a memorial service held Saturday, March 2, 2019, at the Newport Beach Mormon Church in Newport Beach, California. Hundreds of friends and family members gathered at the service to mourn the deaths and remember the lives of the couple found dead in their home in mid-February 2019.

The Nicholsons and their housekeeper, Maria Morse, were victims of a triple homicide discovered on February 13, 2019, in Newport Beach, California.

The Nicholson’s son, Camden Nicholson, 27, was charged with committing the triple murder and arraigned on March 8, 2019.

Mr. Nicholson joined AAB’s Executive Officers Section in 2000 when he was the owner of Westcliff Medical Laboratories in Newport Beach, California. In 2011, Mr. Nicholson’s new laboratory, West Pacific Medical Laboratory, also in Newport Beach, California, joined the National Independent Laboratory Association (NILA) and remained a member until 2016.

Mr. Nicholson was also active in the California Clinical Laboratory Association (CCLA) where he served as president in 1993-1994 and 2007-2008.
